Susan Mason

Executive Director & Co-Founder, What’s Next Washington

Susan Mason is the formerly incarcerated executive director and co-founder of What’s Next Washington. She is a local and national advocate and activist. In Washington State she sits on the FARE Chance Housing Coalition, the Voting Justice Coalition and is an Advisory Board Member at the Tombolo Institute for Design Thinking at Bellevue College. Susan is also a member of Leadership Tomorrow 2022. Nationally Susan is a 2018 JustLeadershipUSA (JLUSA) Fellow and National Council of Formerly and Currently Incarcerated Women and Girls, 2019 Reimagining Communities Fellow, as well as a NationSwell Council member. Susan has a passion for think tanks and building a nationwide base of support for all formerly incarcerated persons to participate and be heard.
